The finca Son March belongs to a complex of villas 'Villas Petra' which are connected by roads, although each one has its own privacy and independence.
This property has an approximate extension of 14.000m2, the house has about 450 m2 distributed on two floors. On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room with fireplace and 'batiporte' (typical Mallorcan stained glass door) and three double bedrooms with single beds. This villa is located only about three kilometres from the village of Petra, which offers all basic services and is world famous for being the birthplace of the saintly Fray Junipero Serra, founder of the California missions.
In about 20 minutes by car you reach Son Serra de Marina and its small marina 'Son Serra Nova' where you can enjoy two beautiful and picturesque beaches 'Sa Canova' and 'Son Real'.
The finca is located in front of the Puig de Bonany, a mountain whose Mediterranean vegetation surrounds paths of great beauty. To reach the monastery of the Ermita de Bonany, from where you can enjoy incomparable views of the whole island, there is a path, about 200m from the estate, which is only accessible on foot, where you can go hiking.
If you wish to go to the aforementioned monastery by car, there is a well-paved road from the entrance to the village of Petra to the Hermitage.
The neighbouring villages are very typical, such as Sineu, Santa Margarita... where you can visit the markets and enjoy their products.
Villas Petra are highly recommended for groups of cyclists, from this area where the houses are located there is access to many cycling routes, on the property there is space to store the bicycles.
